The MOD Releases its UFO Files

The UK Ministry of Defense has been recording cases of Unidentified Flying Objects for many decades. The British Government even had a dedicated UFO member of staff to deal with cases – Nick Pope, although I would be interested to find out more on the present setup… The National Archives employs a BUFORA council member and PhD professor called Dr David Clark for this job.

Now, if you don’t already know, you can get your grubby mits on what sunny southeast England deems appropriate for public UFO disclosure. It’s heavily censored and you can be sure that the juicy global conspiracy stuff is glaringly absent, but it does have some good stuff none the less. No shock that it is not going to shake up the scientific community.

UK National Archives of UFO material released to the public

Another thing to note, I am adding The Black Vault as well as the National Archives site to my list of favorites. If you don’t already know it, the premise behind the Black Vault site was to grab as many documents as possible that have been made public through the American Freedom of Information Act . Again, it is censored to the point of idiocy!

Lets see.. <blacked out> UFO, <blacked out> policeman, <blacked out>, didn’t know what he saw that night but it <blacked out>

Just don’t black out with boredom trying to find anything to incriminate the conspirators here!

Oh, and if you are interested, you can start your own UFO research by reading Dr David Clarke’s guide to the newly released files (PDF, 218kb). Discover the history of the British government UFO investigations and find out where the new files fit in.

Thank you DrDil from UFO casebook. David Clarke is in fact much more than a mere journalist!

(David Clarke )” considerably more qualified than a mere journalist would be in such matters, but more importantly within the context you referenced him he’s part of a small group of UK UFO researchers who are responsible for applying massive pressure to the MoD and are in a large part responsible for the MoD file release. Also they are single-handedly responsible for saving many of the files so that they could be released in the first place.”
