It does however sum up what has been happening to the UFO phenomenon in judeo-christian circles. Take this man for example;  Father William Gill, an Anglican priest from Australia. Not only did he and his congregation wave at the occupants of a typical flying saucer, with gesticulatory reciprocation in response, but he managed to hold ‘Evensong’ with this thing just hovering silently outside!

Sure, this man and his congregation’s account is pre-Vatican exo-biology conference, but it comes to the surface today, in a time where adaptation and shifting of religious goal posts is the norm. All in preparation for first contact no doubt.

It’s pretty topical stuff really. How will first contact be treated from a religious perspective? Would “Intelligent Aliens undermine God” asks a writer for scienceandreligiontoday.com. Expect to see more ‘spiritual’ perspectives. Should be most entertaining. I love watching people squirm as their out-dated world view shifts! Its great.
