Santa was on a practice flight when disaster struck.

Photographs of a typical practice run in Mexico in 1998 show what appear to be Santa doing a classic Delta Beta Omega maneuver in real-time mode before final toy deployment vector descent.

This was the last known confirmed public sighting of the world’s most beloved flying object! Images of Santa, as you know are classified and removed from circulation by a dedicated troop of Santa’s elfish computer hackers.
