Category Archives: Fake videos
Two weeks before the huge Chile Earthquake of 2010, there were reports of mysterious sounds, “like thunder, but much louder and with no lightning or other signs of storms”. There were also sightings of “a humanoid of over three meters tall” by passengers on a bus traveling to Iquique!
Of late, there have been a plethora of reports of strange noises like this from all over the globe and even UFOs filmed while the odd noises have been ‘performing’. Whether they are the precursor of earthquakes or not, they are extremely odd and have been associated with the UFO phenomenon! Of course, chronic hoaxing has also been associated with the UFO phenomenon… Here’s a comment from a video on the subject that I liked.
Using adobe Audition or some other program:
- Record an audio file of a cabinet being dragged across the garage floor.
- Transfer said audio file into Audition and edit the hell out of it(Reverb, Echo, Octave drops…)
- Record a video of the sky, trees or big buildings your cell phone.
- Merge the files together….post on YouTube so everyone can laugh.
Yes very funny. One hoaxer who wants to get on the bandwagon for whatever reason won’t destroy for everyone the fact that the world is filled with genuine strange noises!… lol Seriously though, there is something more than mundane going on here.
Please tell me what you think in the comments section below.
BTW, anyone commenting with something like: “I loved this post, it was exactly what I was looking for” needs to put the word UFO’s are awesome” in the post to get past the spam filter. Just sayin’
This sighting just doesnt seem to want to go away. There has been a host of fans (probably religeous) who want to believe that this is the real deal. I won’t go on the record as saying that this is a hoax, however I will reiterate that something like this is so easy to do on a computer. What are your thoughts?
Lets make some Lumpy, pointy Star Wars-like UFOs with flashy zippy hovery shots from different angles and perspectives. We need the videos to be photo-realistic and unattached to any specific agenda except China’s because they are a hotspot for UFOs. We could appeal to the “ET chooses China” thing. No fanfares or hype though. Because we want to set the footage up as a Chinese set of sightings, we could put the videos up on Youku.com.
Make sure you read up a bit on what these things are meant to look like and spice it up a bit. No saucers on top of each other with a dome on top. That may be the historically reported design as disclosed by military whistle blowers, but we want these things to look somewhat familiar to the typical sci fi watcher, so no smooth curves. Too 60s. Give them some rivets and functional looking bits like in that TV show V.
Chinese UFOs again! These vids are pretty popular already, as you can tell from the news report here, and the skeptic in me dismisses them because these days, its actually easy to commission realistic visual effects if there is a viable business model around them.
Because videos become monetized once a threshold of viewers is reached, at least on Youtube, a hoax is no longer an ego stroking exercise. It is no longer merely a lonely group or individual desiring to make an impact on the world in the shadows while they have a secret laugh. Now, publicity translates to income directly, and that makes the whole legitimate study of UFOs all the more difficult these days.
What would the motivation of genuine ETs be for allowing their craft to go showing off in China in this specific manner? If ET wants to show off to the world, ET does so in front of mainstream news cameras all over the place. Live. Not in a few obscure, anonymous Chinese private films.
What I’d like to see are witnesses. Oh, right, they have been silenced already. How convenient. Having said that, I want to believe! Really, I do. I just think that ET would be smarter than to expose themselves in what are quite frankly, lumpy, clunky pieces of crap tin cans with bits and bulges. The only cool stuff is the dimensional phasing, which if real in this case was underwhelming in its utilization. What was that, about 10 metres?
Would the real ET PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stand up for pity’s sake and deliver us from these fantasies so we can actually not waste our excitement on some short lived oriental 3D studio’s ego trip?
OK I suppose I have to add my two bits to the whole ‘viral’ London UFO thingy.
So what people have been watching are 3 videos of some dots and a big oval flying above the capital city of merry England. I really do not want to rehash the debunking of this material myself except to perhaps just try to summarize the best skeptical points:
- Its as convincing as the Jerusalem UFO… (Ok I haven’t talked about that one so maybe I will just link you to the commentary)
- Dots and ovals have no detail and are so easy to fake. As such you would expect the camera shake to be synchronized to the UFOs themselves but they don’t.Bad job.The UFO “jiggles” differently than the clouds next to it. A poor effort in matching camera shake to the distant background elements I’m afraid, which is why I think that at least one out of these three is the real deal. The fakes are so blimmen obvious!. http://youtu.be/-T6L-QSjFjY
- At the beginning, the cameraman is nonchalant about the alleged sighting, seeming to care more about peoples’ reactions. As Benjamin Radford, deputy editor of Skeptical Enquirer said recently:”The cameraman is apparently randomly videotaping a mundane sidewalk, and then moves quickly to a street corner, where he takes careful note of the reactions from passer-by…
“This is highly suspicious behavior for someone who truly believes that there are alien spacecraft in the skies above that could reappear at any moment.”
I have my favorite though, and this one would be my contender for the ‘real’ footage in the mix, if indeed any of this represents ‘reality’!
You know the score; the real will be mixed with the obviously fake in order to discredit it. Who would want to discredit a real UFO video? Don’t you know that there is a UFO coverup? The ‘government’ STILL does not want you to know the truth! Why? What an excellent question!

| The famous “flying triangle” UFO |
Cue the X Files music.
Fox Mulder wanted to believe from 1992 to 2004. The X Files featured aliens, monsters, mutants, shape shifters, aliens, men in black (or grey suits), aliens, did I say aliens? Ah yes, so Mr Mulder, in an effort to get closer to the truth about extraterrestrial aliens, runs into the groom lake facility and gets an eyeball of the above triangular UFO. His subsequent memory erasure procedure is irrelevant. What is important is that I have a nice first paragraph for today’s advent calendar topic, which is Triangular flying anomalies.
UFOs are not always disk shaped. They are also not always man made. Should I phrase that the other way round? They are not always extraterrestrial craft. Clearly, and no doubt the majority of readers will know this already, there are public domain declassified aircraft configurations that are pretty much triangular. The B2 Spirit Stealth Bomber is a triangular craft. So is the F117 Nighthawk Stealth Fighter. Heck, the Nazis were experimenting with flying wedges so seeing a photo of a flying triangle is not such a big deal; unless it is a giant pyramid flying over the Kremlin!
Now, does anyone speak Russian here? I get LOADS of Russian spam comments so I am talking to you spammers out there who read my blog! What are they saying in this video? Are they saying “Gosh, what the bleep is that huge pyramid thing doing up there?”; or are they saying ” Ah the Russian sky is so dark tonight. Ooh look, I can see the reflections of the streetlights on the car window! Looks a bit like spaceships flying past! Hey why don’t we superimpose a giant pyramid behind the window on this video and make people think there is a fricken Egyptian pyramid floating over the fricken Kremlin! Yeah what a really great way to not waste our time! The English speaking audience will never know! How funny and edifying this will be, Boris.”
I guess this fits into a new classification of flying triangle. (Man made or otherwise) ancient Monolithic Flying Objects. That’s MFO for short. Anyone got a video of Stone Henge over the Hague? That would be even more wierd.
I better debunk something because its the weekend! I’ve got it, how about that new video that just emerged, you know, the one about the jets and the helicopter and the frantic guys on that boat who filmed something splashing into the water..?
Well, the video features what is said to be a Spanish fishing boat with a finger pointed at a couple of jets in the sky, which the camera follows. The camera quickly moves to show another finger pointing towards the trajectory of a couple more jets which fly over the position of a UFO which you briefly see hovering and then quickly submerging. Splash! A helicopter appears above the boat and tells the fishermen to return to port immediately. In Portuguese.
- I wasn’t impressed with the UFO. It was blurry. Typical.
- I wasn’t impressed with the fact that this incredible hovering object was less important than the frantic face of one of the fishermen. You’ll see what I mean.
- I was left with the impression that the UFO was a CGI afterthought actually, and that the video features a run in with international borders enforcement or some other such scenario that screams that these guys have just been bust! This is due to the fact that there seems to be more concern with everything else going on than the alleged UFO! The video makes perfect sense without that feature!
- I also doubt that a ‘real’ UFO would make such a splash, for the simple reason that airborne sightings of these things have no sonic boom associated with their exceptional speed. As such, I would surmise that interaction with air is non conventional. One could imagine then that the water could be made to bend around the object just like the air and consequently have no splash associated with it. Ironically, this would make the video even more unrealistic! You know what they say, fact can be stranger than fiction…
Look for yourself.
Video: Fishing boat films submerging object
Here’s a translation of the audio:
Statement with video: The terror of a Galician fisherman with a ‘foreign object’
The guy said: ¿Que es eso , qué es eso?(What is that!) ; They are talking in Galician, a language similar to Portuguese.
Pero que coño, que caralho pasa aquí?Pero que caralho está pasando aquí?;
Translation:What the h*ll is going on? What the f**k?! Holy s**t, stop recording!!
Wait, what was that? Stop the recording??? Are you kidding me? NOT the words of a man who just saw a UFO? Maybe the words of a man trying to HIDE something… No idea what that could be. Smuggling something perhaps. Naaa, UFOs are more entertaining than smugglers.
The helicopter said:
“Leave the area; leave the area immediately and head for port; receive instructions there. Leave the area and head for port.”
Thanks to http://naturalplane.blogspot.com/2009/09/statement-with-video-translation-guy.html for the translation and the Youtube video.
Have a happy remainder of the weekend! And remember, the next time you fim a UFO, make sure you point at the UFO more than the reactions of those around you!

A very odd occurrence here: Aliens running over busy main roads (which I cannot find on YouTube any more. How very suspicious.) An odd reflection in the white house windows that looks like an alien head. You know the one I mean. George Bush is making an address, meanwhile behind him, this creepy alien head reflection is staring back at us from the window behind. Puppet Masters that they are. |

Video: George Bush with Gray Alien behind |
|
Then there’s that guy who films a patch of his local woods for ages in infrared. A Grey alien figure (or something) moves away to the right. It would be good if there was a well trusted central repository of knowledge for the UFO ‘community’ online, like Wikipedia for the beyond. I wonder. Spookipedia. Strangeipedia? It might help if there was a well reasoned argument for or against a given case’s reliability. Does anyone know of such a thing? Videos and images of extremely dubious origin presents a problem in that genuine material gets all mixed up with the fakes. This is especially a problem when you have a really well engineered hoaxes. I could present a few here, but you know what I’m talking about. In the spirit of disclosure then, I suggest that the people from the military industrial complex who claim to know so much about all this, get together and vote or assess the various cases. For example, “does this alien head look like what you saw”? Over at MUFON, they do what any careful research organization does. They say to themselves when checking any case, “what does this potential genuine UFO contactee or whatever have to gain by disclosing their tale of interstellar shenanigans?” You know the problem with that approach? If a UFO fanatic sees a real Grey alien in a patch of woods, whips out his night vision filter and video camera (which he always carries on his person, just in case you know) and starts shooting the woods, who in MUFON is going to believe him? “How much did that dummy cost you buddy?” |
Primitive energy generation, using uranium fission to heat water, like radioactive coal engines. Well that’s what the topic on board the white blobs may be.
Check it out. It’s short, but nicely executed. Shame about the shadows not quite matching up, but hey, whoever did this doesn’t have the expertise, financing and manpower of ILM. I remember the one that zoomed up to the British and French Concorde supersonic commercial airliner way back in the 80s. You know, in the days before CGI. That video was a bit more provocative. It could still have been faked, but back then, it was more difficult to do that sort of thing. I think these ‘craft ‘ originated from the planet VideoEditingSuite.
