It’s Monday evening here in the Pacific North West and I have just been enjoying watching an old Disney movie with the kids. Angela Lansbury and ‘substitutiery locomotion’!More on that in a mo’.
When I was 11 years old, which was eons ago by my reckoning, I remember walking home from the last day of school before the summer holidays with my new school friend Douglas. We had just watched Bednobs and Broomsticks and I was imagining I was moving objects by looking at them. I would stop and stare at the road and it sometimes looked like the road was kind of wobbling. Of course now I know that inside the eye is a fluid that does create a swirly distortion of objects if you pay very close attention. There is also the optical illusion created by staring at a moving surface like the ground for a long time then stopping. It creates the impression of movement because your brain is so used to seeing this movement. If anyone has studied the way the brain works, you will know that our perception is made up of a great deal of internally created imagery. Something to do with data compression I suppose! Try it sometime.
Anyway, there I was wishing and wishing that I had that kind of power and now, 473 years later I am writing about this longing in my BLOG. The fascination with the paranormal is probably one of the reasons I got interested in UFOs in the first place. Even although a long time has past and many tomes of mystical knowledge have been absorbed, I still find myself longing for something absolutely real; something so real that I can’t apply my innate ability to trivialize a thing into mundane trickery. Fat chance. Wel actually there are a few things…
So here I am at the beginning of another week going over in my mind all the reasons why I shouldn’t dismiss another purported UFO sighting or experience as mundane trickery or illusory, but I usually find myself constrained to do so. Can’t help myself. I guess it all boils down to disappointment. I’m rambling. Which brings me neatly to the subject of fields of crops… (Rambling is what you do in fields.. ahem.)
Yes, Crop Circles. A topical subject to mention at the end of this Canadian thanksgiving. Our cultivated fields of wheat have been blessed by the cryptic ramblings of another sort. These enigmatic pictograms have been ‘interpreted’ in so many different ways that whatever the actual intentions of their creators were have been scrambled. Pretty to look at aren’t they? Here’s one showing a Mayan Calendar.

Google even used the concept of the crop circle recently for their name, to commemorate HG Well’s War of the Worlds. Scary.

So how does one go about making a crop circle? Well if you want to get your hands on an intense electromagnetic source, you can create a holographic matrix of unique energies that can produce some lovely computer generated artwork in your nearest field. You might need a flying saucer so as not to reveal any tracks, and a temporal distortion field will allow you to do the job in the blink of an eye.
You see this is one thing I know about these ‘crop circles’. They appear in minutes, in silence and reveal an understanding of multi-dimensional physics that goes beyond the likes of Doug Bower and Dave Chorley’s primitive efforts! You have to realize something about these messages. They are not for the average skeptical Joe out there. Which gives me hope. Because if you are on the receiving end of a coherent message from these diagrams that has a genuinely life transforming effect on your consciousness, then guess what? Their message is for you my friend.
If on the other hand, you have only seen the result of a bunch of sad mathematician hippies or media sponsored MIT students with a log, some string and some pilfered radioactive material, then the message in the fields is not for you. Move along now, nothing to see here. 2012 is just another Y2k! Heads down.
I trust we all have something in our hearts to be thankful for today and all days forthcoming.
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!

UFO Digest – UFO Paranormal News
Very interesting! I think that if a crop circle were to apear in a field near where I live, I would probably thik about what you said. What I mean by that is, I would wonder whether or not I would be ‘priviledged enough’ to ‘get’ what ‘they’ were trying to say to me. How can I find out more about what these ‘crop circles’ actually mean?
Google is a great way. Youtube has some pretty cool videos. I like to use Disclose.tv for videos as well, because they are pretty focused on this kind of subject matter. See the links to the left under UFO Websites. I have an amazon store that you can use at the very top of the page called ‘very Cool DVDs’ I think you will find some educational material in there on the subject! I get 4% if you buy from Amazon through it!
About the thumbnail. The Crop Pictogram is a very famous one, called the Arecibo Reply and is the subject of heated debate. In 1974, a digital message was beamed into space by the Arecibo telescope, containing a logical and precise explanation in pictographic form, showing who we are, where we are, what our genome looks like in general terms, the fact that our mathematics is based on the number ten and other basic things.
The crop picture that was stamped next to the telescope in the image appeared over night. Here’s a pretty good link on the original message and the corresponding reply.

One has to think about the motive for hoaxing this to realize how monumentally stupid and time wasting such a thing would be. Also to actually comprehend and produce meaningful and realistic information in the reply message is a work of genius. Hats off to whoever actually made this crop image. I want to meet them!
Is it possible that this is made by humans shooting beams from space? I see that crop circles appeared in the media in the 70s – perhaps it is just a silly space program experiment?
Hmmmm, yes beams. Crop circles were called devil circles over a hundred years ago. They are quite an old phenomenon, but they have become more sophisticated as our culture evolves.
Crop circles are amazing for our time. Some appear out of nowhere and are so large they defy the physical ability for such to be possible. I’ve learned more recently that crop circles carry various messages. Some of these messages I’ve been able to decipher through dowsing. Check out my CropCircles page at http://h20healer.com/blog/cropcircles for some examples. Great time to be alive!
An interesting video on the “Arecibo reply”.
When I was a kid, we went out and made crop circles in the fields. People were scared to death. It was hillarious.
Me visit you site http://www.ufo-disclosure.com/blog/canadian-thanksgiving/651/ man times, I want to say thank you for assiting with me English. I share pretty video with you.
